Drudge Report
Ok, I have been reading the Drudge since before the Lewinsky scandal. I was turned on to this by a developer from Minn. working for me at the time who said you just have to read this thing.
The site makes me feel like I am looking at a 19th century newspaper with the headlines and garble over the page. I really like it - in fact I wish the whole site was B&W as there is limited value in the color images when parsing the information (other than some are very entertaining).
I would like to see more sites with the idea of simple access baked in. Yeah flash can be cool - but how many times can I see the same cool graphic and at what cost to develop that? Simple, three column, b&w site makes parsing the info fast. I would rather have access to cool/new/breaking information - that is the real currency of the web.
